Pre-surgery to-do list items (June 2015)

Before Sydney had her surgery we wanted to make sure that we got any and all memorabilia that we wanted before it was too late. I thought we would share all the different things we did/made. 

We did 2 foot molds. While it was sitting on our kitchen windowsill drying, I think it creeped out a few of our friends..lol but I’m so glad we did that one!

 

We also made lots of foot prints with acrylic paint. It took us about 30 tries before we felt like we had some really good ones.lol We made one similar to this one below, but with grandma and grandpa in the place of mom and dad that we gave to Sydney's grandparents.

We also bought a few fun things for her to try and help make it more of a "fun" time for her. She is obsessed with Brave and Big Hero 6, so we got her a doll/matching dress-up dress for her. We got her a Brave t-shirt (very fitting..:) ) for her to wear to the hospital the day of. Then we got her a few Brave and Big Hero 6 books and sticker books for her to read and play with while she was recovering. She was really excited about it all.
